| This summer I will once again be participating in the Pan Mass Challenge, a bike-a-thon to raise money for cancer research. The PMC ride covers 192 miles over 2 days. The route that I ride travels from Wellesley, Massachusetts to Provincetown on Cape Cod. You can visit my PMC Profile by clicking here. You can also see some of my photos from past years rides beginning in 2000 by clicking here. I rode my first PMC because my friend Leslie Semonian passed away from Ewing Sarcoma Cancer in 1999. She was 33. Since then, I and many of those around me have lost a number of friends and family to cancer. I used to say "I ride for Leslie." As time passes, I have been forced to add many names to the list. I now ride for Leslie Semonian, Mary Dedekian, Filomena Capizzi, Judith Paiewonsky, Suzanne Lipschitz, Enoch Lachinian, Vahe Maroukhian, John Janjigian, John Kefeyan, Vicki Consalvi Jones, Khorshed Jungalwala and many more who have lost their battle with cancer. If you prefer to send a check rather than making an online donation, please download the attached pdf document and mail your pledge to: Aram Aslanian Checks should be made payable to PMC/Leslie's Links Gifts are tax deductible! |
